Frequently Asked Questions
Humrun connects you with restaurants in need of your services, so you can fill your schedule and reach more customers. When performing a job using Humrun, you will be able to securely send quotes and invoices directly through the app, get paid faster and keep track of your job history to account for your time and income.
Humrun does not charge an upfront fee to be a service provider. Instead, Humrun administers a small service fee based on jobs you perform using Humrun. Therefore, we only get paid after you get paid. This allows your business to grow without out-of-pocket costs like internet advertisements or direct mail campaigns.
All job-related charges are set and controlled by the service providers themselves, the same as they would without Humrun. Humrun does not mandate or control what a service provider charges for its services.
Register your business by accessing our Service Provider sign-up page. Once you’ve entered your business information, including your license and insurance details, download the app from the Apple App Store, set your work status to ‘available’ and let the job requests come to you.
An Apple device and a toolkit is all you need to perform jobs using Humrun. If you need an Apple mobile device, e-mail us at email@example.com.
When restaurant users create a job, they will see a list of available technicians and their basic details, including distance from their restaurant, trip charge rates, and hourly rates. From there, the user selects a technician to hire, and the technician receives a Humrun notification with details of the job and an option to accept the work.
During registration, you’ll be asked to create a Stripe account. Once you quote a job, a hold is placed on the restaurants’ payment method. When the job is completed, you’ll submit your final invoice to get paid, and the funds are deposited directly into your account. For more information about Stripe, click here.
